Did you know that switching out your shoes regularly can help to keep both your shoes and your feet in better condition?
It's true, resting your shoes in between wearing allows them to breathe and to recover from any stretching that may have taken place while you were wearing them.
And wearing different shoes each day helps to keep your feet rested and healthy. Different shoes put pressure on different parts of your feet - heels feel really different to sneakers, don't they? Having the same pressure on the same part of your foot day after day can feel exhausting, and can even cause problems with the health of your feet. Switching to a fresh pair of shoes for a day or two can help your feet to stay strong and feel good - and a little pampering with moisturizer or a pedicure never hurt, either, right?
A moment's care of your shoes can help a lot, too. A quick wipe over with a cloth or a soft brush at the end of the day will remove dust and dirt from your shoes, keeping them looking and feeling like new.
So go ahead, take a minute to look after your shoes, and then put your feet up for a well earned rest...
